Neuro-Linguistic Programming sessions
NLP is a therapeutic approach to understanding how your mind works. NLP was developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, who believed it was possible to identify the patterns of thoughts and behaviours of successful individuals and to teach them to others. Neuro meaning mind and how we process information, Linguistic is the language we use, and Programming refers to the behaviour or beliefs we create as a habit or default thought process. I take you on a journey to understand why you do the things you do and how to release self-limiting beliefs and replace them with empowering and self-motivating scripts to pace forward. Unlike traditional therapy, NLP takes you from where you are to where you would like to be.  

NLP is a broad field of practice.  As such, NLP practitioners use many different techniques that include the following: 

Anchoring: Turning sensory experiences into triggers for certain emotional states.

Rapport: The practitioner tunes into the person by matching their physical behaviours to improve communication and response through empathy.

Swish pattern: Changing patterns of behaviour or thought to come to a desired instead of an undesired outcome.

Visual/kinaesthetic dissociation (VKD): Trying to remove negative thoughts and feelings associated with a past event.

Life Coaching sessions  
There are many definitions for what coaching is all about. The International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as;  

“Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential” 

Life - or 'Personal' Coaching is a solution-focused approach to personal development that can help someone to make lasting change in all areas of their life. Coaches facilitate this change for their clients by empowering them with specific tools and scientifically tested techniques that work.

Basically coaching is a form of development in which a person called a coach supports a learner or client in achieving a specific personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance.
